Two meetings are planned. An Inaugural Meeting will occur shortly after grantees are selected and will allow them to get feedback on their proposed research from peers. Toward the end of the grant period which ends October 31, 2025, a Capstone Meeting will be held. This meeting will allow grantees to present their findings to a larger audience and will facilitate further, future collaboration.
Inaugural Meeting
This meeting will be held in Tallahassee, Florida, on the beautiful Florida State University campus. At this meeting, each grantee will share plans for their proposed research. The meeting is designed to create synergy among the grantees that will facilitate ongoing communication among them.
Capstone Conference
The culmination of this project will be the Capstone Conference. All grantees will be expected to participate, and to share the results of their research, insights, and discoveries. The purposes of this capstone conference are:
To strengthen further ties among the grantees that might lead to ongoing collaborations to advance knowledge on the role of divine forgiveness in understanding human behavior
To allow grantees to provide feedback to one another with the goal of improving their future work on divine forgiveness
To share ideas and knowledge with a broader community, including graduate students and other young researchers who may select to do research on divine forgiveness.
